Description:
Constitution Day was celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Convent Secondary School, Gurugram on 26th of November 2022, to pay tribute to the father of Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, also known as the architect of the Indian constitution. The day was commemorated with great zest & buoyance.
The students from classes VI, VII and IX, presented a short but enlightening program to reiterate the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution. They spoke about the importance of being a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic country and read out the preamble along with the students and explained the history and story behind it. Students also relived the characters of constitution makers by portraying them in a lively manner.
Towards the end of the session everyone along with the students took a pledge to reaffirm their commitment to uphold and protect the ideologies of the Constitution.
