Our school celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The campus was beautifully decorated with tricolour flags, ribbons, and flowers, creating an atmosphere of pride and unity. The celebration began with the arrival of our esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Charulata, our respected Drawing Teacher, who has been a source of inspiration for her dedication and creativity. She was welcomed warmly by the school band.
After the flag hoisting ceremony and the singing of the National Anthem, the cultural program commenced. The students showcased their talents through a variety of performances that reflected the spirit of freedom. A graceful classical dance performance captured the cultural richness of our nation. This was followed by a captivating theatrical script depicting the life and bravery of Shaheed Udham Singh, which brought alive his sacrifice for India’s independence.
The programme also included a powerful mime act portraying the glory of India, highlighting its achievements, unity in diversity, and progress over the years. To conclude, the students sang a melodious patriotic song that filled the air with national pride and brought the audience to their feet in applause.
The celebration ended with the Chief Guest’s inspiring words, reminding everyone of the responsibility we hold as citizens to uphold the values of our freedom. Every heart filled with love for the nation.
